What is Khipu?

Khipu is an automated online payment method, technically a payment gateway. It allows you to receive payments from your customers online through bank transfers in a simplified and automated way. When Khipu confirms the transfer, the booking in TourTask will automatically be marked as paid, and confirmations will be sent to your company and also to the client. As the payment is made by transfer instead of by card, the cost per transaction is very low, which allows the company to make great savings.

How to integrate Khipu with TourTask

Register as a natural person here: https://khipu.com/user/register
Confirm the email and log in to your account.
Click on your account menu at the top left and go to "Crear nueva cuenta de cobro".
Select country and click "Siguiente".
Click "Uso comercial".
Follow the instructions to set up and confirm your bank account.
If you are in Chile, select how you prefer Khipu to charge you commission. If each of your transactions is going to be more than approximately 60 USD, the fixed charge of 0.0105 UF + VAT per transaction is the better option. If your transactions are generally of a lower value, the plan with a commission of 1% + VAT is more suitable.
Accept the terms to enable your new billing account.
Click "Opciones de la cuenta de cobro".
Expand the "Para integrar Khipu a tu sitio web" section.
Under Identificación del cobrador you will find your Collector ID and Key. Copy these values to the Khipu configuration in TourTask, under Settings > Payment Options.
Activate Khipu in TourTask to instantly be ready to receive payments from your clients with this payment gateway.
